When it’s time for a new roof or you need a repair, you want to make sure you are getting a good deal and the experience is not more trouble than it’s worth.  Here are some tips to make sure you have a pleasant experience:

 1. Find a roofing contractor with a good reputation that is committed to quality. 

Contact the Better Business Bureau & past customers to get referrals.  Ask to see pictures of their current jobs.

2. Get more than one estimate.

With ANY construction job, it is best to obtain estimates from a minimum of three contractors and get it in writing! You will be able to sit down with the various quotes and compare what each will do and decide which company offers you the best deal. 

3. Research.

 Learn the terms used in roofing.   Have your contractor let you know how long the project should take.  The more you know, the better the experience will be.
